GARY FILBERT AWARD

GARY FILBERT LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

The highest honor given by the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association (MBCA), is the Gary Filbert Lifetime Achievement Award, named after 1989 MBCA Hall of Fame inductee, Gary Filbert.

Gary Filbert was known as a founder, pioneer, innovator, and legend. Filbert initiated the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association, and also took the first steps toward the creation of the Missouri Basketball Hall of Fame. 

The award recognizes coaches who spent a lifetime devoted to the promotion of basketball in the state of Missouri.
